CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER SENIOR

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
  • Conduct security reviews and assessments of container images, configurations, & network policies within Open Shift environments
  • Experience performing hardening of Windows and Linux based systems and applying best practices to underlying infrastructure
  • Implement and enforce security policies and access controls with Open Shift clusters to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of containerized apps and data
  • Experience with RedHat OpenShift and familiar with relevant deployment technologies (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
  • Experience in building Trellix server, DLP, ENS, and Application control suites, and dashboard creation
  • Experience creating Splunk dashboards and configuring Splunk Universal Forwarder for monitoring and logs
  • Manage and automate security configurations using Ansible, patching Linux servers, managing firewalls, and enforcing security baselines
  • Develop and maintain secure CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Development) pipelines to integrate security checks and controls for automated application build and deployment process
  • Thorough understanding and practical expertise with Intelligence Community Directive 503 (ICD 503), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework, or CIS (Center for Internet Security) controls (preferred)

Experience: 5+ years of related experience
Certifications: DoD 8570.01 certification required - Security +, or higher

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
