Description of the role: The Experienced Automotive Title Clerk at Capitol Chevrolet in Austin, TX will be responsible for managing all aspects of vehicle titles and registration paperwork. They will ensure the accurate and timely processing of titles for all vehicle sales and transfers, maintaining compliance with state regulations and dealership policies. Responsibilities: * Process vehicle titles and registrations accurately and efficiently * Communicate with customers, vendors, and government agencies regarding title paperwork * Maintain organized records of all title transactions * Handle title corrections and discrepancies * Ensuring that name and address files are updated on an ongoing basis * Processing all wholesale deals and monitoring wholesale receivable * Verifying pay off trade-ins * Completing end of month accounting reports * Assisting in completion of annual review/audit * Keeping current with applicable laws * Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins * Submitting all legal transfer documents to the DMV Requirements: * MUST HAVE AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE * 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Title Clerk * Strong knowledge of vehicle title and registration processes * Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Experience in using CDK Software (preferable) * Ability to handle multiple tasks Benefits: * Competitive salary * Medical, vision, and dental insurance * 401K * Paid time off * Employee discounts * Company holidays * Holiday parties * Team building trips * Growth opportunities About the Company: Capitol Chevrolet is a well-established automotive dealership located in Austin, TX.
