Job Description

At BKM, Marketing Interns are encouraged to learn and grow throughout their time with us. This role is 100% in-office due to the collaborative nature. 

Primary responsibilities and opportunities for learning will include:

• Assist with day-to-day social media management, including content planning, scheduling, and posting across LinkedIn and Instagram
• Create and edit engaging social media graphics and videos using Canva, Adobe, and other design tools
• Develop and maintain social media templates (e.g., for news updates, events, employee highlights, property features)
• Help create video templates and short-form content for social
• Write and edit copy for social media, blogs, email campaigns, and marketing materials
• Collaborate on the design and layout of investor presentations, pitch decks, brochures, and event materials
• Support marketing asset audits and organization projects
• Learn and contribute within CMS platforms (Wix, HubSpot)
• Support SEO efforts, including keyword research, metadata, and optimizing blog and website content
• Track and report on social media analytics, engagement performance, and follower growth
• Conduct competitive research to identify social media trends, content opportunities, and best practices
• Contribute ideas and help develop creative social media campaigns and strategies to support brand goals

Candidate Requirements

While we are ready to teach, we also want our interns to have a head start on the skills and technologies that will provide an opportunity for success and higher-level learning. Here are some basic requirements to start with:

• Basic operating knowledge of the following web and desktop applications is required:
• Willing to learn new platforms
• College-level writing skills are required; great writers are preferred
• Communication and work ethic are absolutely essential
