RQC, LLC, (a wholly-owned subsidiary of DPR Construction) is seeking experienced Architects and Designers with an advanced level of large scale ($25M +) commercial, federal and/or industrial type project experience to join our design/build team to contribute to a true integrated project delivery for the Department of Defense. Projects are challenging, interesting and diverse both technically and geographically. Our dynamic 25+ Architectural team (and growing) includes over 10 licensed Architects and staff. We utilize the highest levels of design and 3D technologies for production and construction including Revit and Navisworks. We are looking for broad-thinking Architects and Designers to be part of a uniquely dynamic culture of innovation and collaboration that encompasses all aspects of design/build. We are seeking a Interior Designer to join our team at our Carlsbad, CA office. This position will assist the Interiors team on commercial interior design projects, providing design solutions by giving clients excellent service both on design and delivery.

Education & Experience

  • A BA/BS degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited program is the minimum formal education required for this position. A BA/BS Interior Architecture or Architecture may be considered with appropriate work experience.
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of relevant design experience with the design of commercial interiors projects required.
  • NCIDQ certification preferred.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Internet, etc.) required.
  • Proficiency in REVIT v2022 or higher required.
  • Specific software literacy including Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, Twinmotion, Lumion, and SketchUp preferred.
