If Machine Operator sounds like something you would be interested in, and you meet the qualifications listed below, apply now! **Responsibilities for a Machine Operator include but are not limited to:** + Perform typical machine shop and press operations. + Operate press production, braid winding, lathe, or crimping machines according to established procedures. + Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, manufacturing drawings, and bills of material. + Accurately record number of parts produced (good and scrap). + Utilize hand tools such as screwdrivers and drill guns. + Maintain inventory of products at workstations. + Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards and report defects. + Adjust machine settings as necessary and troubleshoot simple quality issues. + Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards. + Report safety hazards, accidents, and near misses to management. + Properly use safety equipment and ensure machine guards and interlocks are functioning. + Complete other tasks as assigned by Supervisor. **Candidates for Machine Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered:** + Ability to read and interpret tape measures or measuring devices. + Machine Operator experience preferred. + Basic reading and math skills. + Must be able to speak and understand English. + Ability to follow directions and use basic hand tools. + Problem-solving and reasoning skills. Physical Requirements: + Regularly lift up to 35 pounds. + Perform repetitive tasks and possess manual dexterity for assembly. + Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, and reach above shoulders up to 25% of time. + Understanding MSDS and handling hazardous materials. + Regular attendance is essential.
