Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Jacksonville, Florida

Salary: $35 - $40 per hour with eligibility for 1.5x OT pay plus annual 10% bonus

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of equipment and systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation. The Maintenance Manager will work closely with other team members to maintain the overall functionality and safety of our facilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and extend lifespan.

· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, with 220/480 knowledge.

· Conduct inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.

· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

· Collaborate with other team members to complete complex projects and repairs.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

· Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment and systems.

· Order and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and parts.

· Produce purchase orders in congruence with Management to ensure timely purchase of required parts.

· Welding and fabrication skills, including MIG and TIG, Stainless, experience is a plus.

· On-Call while plant is in operations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in maintenance or a related field is a plus.

· Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

· Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing, and other essential facility systems.

· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, and schematics.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

· Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.

· Fabrication and welding experience is a plus.

· Basic Computer skills.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· At least two years of related experience

Physical Requirements:

· Full-time position with occasional overtime as needed.

· May require working evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts.

· Exposure to various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and noise.
