Job Description

Material Handler Wage: $17/hour Job Responsibilities: Efficiently handle and move materials and products within the warehouse. Load and unload shipments, following safety protocols to ensure no damage to products. Sort and organize inventory in designated areas to maximize efficiency. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks. Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of equipment. Effective communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors. Desired Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred, but not required. Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands. Knowledge of inventory management systems is advantageous
