Job Description

Position Summary:  

  • This full-time position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Public Works Department to ensure efficient operations and effective delivery of services to the public. 
  • This role coordinates the activities of office support staff, manages financial and project documentation, assists with departmental communications, and serves as a key point of contact for public inquiries related to public works programs. 
  • Work is performed under the direction of the Public Works Director.

Requirements:  
  • Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Management, or related field. 
  • Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative, office coordination, or municipal support experience with accounts payable and receivable, and customer service, including two (2) years of supervisory experience.


2025 Salary: The expected hiring range is between $27.21 – $31.10, depending on qualifications.
