**Immediate hiring: Picker / Packer** **Pay Rate - $17/hr** **Job Description** This role involves picking and packing orders from inventory in a warehouse setting. Candidates will use scanners to track performance and efficiency. Some orders may require the use of an orange lift, so comfort with heights is necessary for certain tasks. Packaged orders must be handled with care, using bubble wrap for delicate items and appropriate box sizes. **Responsibilities** + Pick orders from inventory using a scanner to track and ensure accuracy. + Use an orange lift for certain orders, if comfortable with heights. + Pack orders with the correct box size and necessary protective materials like bubble wrap. + Work efficiently to meet performance targets and volume metrics. + Follow directions from supervisors and work independently after initial training. **Essential Skills** + Ability to operate an RF scanner effectively. + General labor skills in a warehouse environment. + Capability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No prior experience required. + Must have reliable transportation. + Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a casual work environment with full benefits and opportunities for overtime. Employees are expected to work efficiently, especially during busy waves. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Buffalo, NY. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
