Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Principal Recruiter is responsible for full life cycle recruiting and will ensure that Signature Aviation and its affiliates attract, hire and retain the best talent. To achieve those objectives, the recruiter will collaborate with department leaders on a regular basis to evaluate staffing objectives and future hiring needs, develop and implement targeted recruiting plans for Corporate and Operational roles, evaluate job candidates, conduct candidate interviews, recommend candidates, negotiate compensation, build a candidate pipeline and work with managers following the placement of candidates to increase retention. The Principal Recruiter is also responsible for supporting strategic projects and initiatives that drive best-in-class solutions for the Talent Acquisition organization. This individual will lead and participate in various types of projects that span across Talent Acquisition operational priorities and may have direct reports aligned to the role. + Maintain consistent and frequent communication with hiring managers to update on the status of targeted efforts to find candidates to fill their current job openings as well as to keep them informed of delays. + Communicate with hiring managers to identify the manager's expectations and the knowledge, skills and abilities candidates should possess to meet and exceed those expectations. + Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies, tailored to attract candidates with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to meet the expectations of each hiring manager. + Continuously develop new and foster existing relationships with the purpose of identifying prospective candidates to maintain an active talent pool from which viable candidates may be sourced. + Work with candidates on timely completion of applications, assessments, background checks and drug screens. + Review applications/resumes to identify candidates with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to meet the expectations of each hiring manager and to fill current job openings. + Conduct first-round interviews to assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, abilities, experience and aptitudes and to identify those candidates who possess the qualities necessary to meet the managers' expectations. + Partner with Compensation and HRBPs to identify competitive offers to extend to candidates. + Maintain accurate data in applicant tracking system on all candidates and positions recruited. + Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to recruitment practices. + Project management duties aligning to organizational priorities and strategic initiatives. + Leadership responsibilities across the Talent Acquisition Recruiting Team, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for recruitment best practices and guidance. + Multi-task and prioritize requests with excellent attention to detail. + Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information. + Other duties as assigned. + Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year (4) college or technical school or six (6) years of Human Resources experience including one (1) year of sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring candidates in a high-volume and fast paced environment. + Three years of Human Resources experience; to include one year of sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring candidates in a high-volume and fast pace environment. + Five years of customer service experience. + One-year experience utilizing a variety of recruiting tools (ads, social media, networking) to source and attract top talent. + Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). + Technical capabilities: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, applicant tracking systems and database systems + Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills. + Excellent analytical and decision making skills. + Ability to communicate effectively and interact with people of diverse backgrounds and at different levels. + Time management and organizational skills to handle various and sometimes conflicting projects/priorities within assigned regions. + Strong project management skills. + Ability to lead teams of recruiters and recruiting coordinators to ensure best-in-class delivery. + High sense of practical urgency to all tasks. + Ability to positively represent Signature Aviation as an employer of choice. + Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to establish priorities and work in a team environment. + Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with ability to appropriately make decisions when required or as appropriate. + Ability to work remotely and self-managing. **An Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vets**
