Structural Engineer - EIT
Webuild (webuildstaffing.com ) is seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer to perform structural steel design / detailing for one of the nation's leading signage / outdoor structure engineering, fabrication and construction firms in the nation.
The ideal individual we are seeking would have a minimum of 1+ years of experience working as a Civil or Structural Engineer with a concentrated focus on concrete infrastructure / foundations, structural steel and electrical design engineering. Must have the capabilities to assist in design through all stages of development from engineering design (conceptual / final), permitting / comment reviews, fabrication and construction oversight on multiple ongoing projects throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Candidates should have a general knowledge of site plan review, conditional zoning assessment, developing engineering designs, performing structural calculations, formalizing component sizing (steel and concrete) and finalizing structural and civil design / plan sets for projects. Working knowledge of ASCE and AISC building codes, as well as, capabilities to utilize AutoCAD for detailing activities on a daily basis required.
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering and/or related discipline. Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, Tekla and/or related engineering software's. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Candidates that have previous signage, telecommunications industry and/or related engineering experience with projects heavy in structural steel detailing and concrete foundations encouraged to apply.
